We booked Twin Ponds last minute as the rental we had reservations for was flooded at Lake Hyco. Chris was so responsive and answered all my questions as we knew nothing about the area. The house was stunning and the basement a kids dream, we loved watching movies at night on the big tv with the back lighting definitely recommend watching Finding Nemo with the lighting. The hot tub was the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing night. The house is huge and so private and super close to the lake. Chris even messaged us with recommendations that were happening in the area while we were there and even made sure our names were added to the list for the pool access. We loved the area and have found a new spot in Nellysford. Chris was always available and super fast responses!! My family had a perfect vacation and we are super thankful

We had a wonderful stay! The home was spotless, spacious, and exactly as described. Chris was a fantastic host—super responsive, thoughtful, and kind enough to let us check in early. The location was peaceful and perfect for our getaway. Would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

My husband and I had a great stay at Chris' home. The neighborhood is quiet, tree-lined, idyllic, with easy walks around ponds/lakes. The house was as described- spacious, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need. We loved the downstairs game room, home theater, and board games! Though it was just the 2 of us and our pup this time, his house could easily host several friends/family members comfortably. The other guest rooms were spacious and climate controlled! Chris is a fantastic host to work with-- succinct and prompt communication before and during our stay. Would be happy to stay again!

We had a great stay at Chris's beautiful house. The decor was super nice and the basement and deck were great places to hang out. Chris proactively communicated about a minor one-off power outage that was scheduled during our stay by the utility company after we booked and made sure we had everything we needed!

We loved our stay here! The house had so much room for everyone to spread out. We enjoyed the nearby pool and lake. The house had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again.

First and foremost, Chris was the best host I’ve ever stayed with. His guidebook was so helpful and accurate and gives you every bit of info about the home and surrounding areas that you need and more. He checked in with us, gave great recommendations, and answered all of my questions near immediately. When we ran into somewhat of an emergency Chris responded quickly and provided us with help. The house was clean and had everything we needed to stay comfortably with kids of all ages. The baby gear was a huge plus and made my life even easier. Would 100% recommend a stay here and we will be coming back.

Chris was amazing! Responsive, friendly and super helpful. My family loved the place, the location was fantastic. (Close to nature activities as well as food and mommy/daddy drinks while the kids play.) 2nd time we’ve been to Nellysford and Chris’ place was pretty darn awesome. Thanks Chris! Our stay was absolutely amazing! The house was very nicely decorated and had a cozy vibe that made it feel like a true home away from home. The amenities were a huge plus and made everything super convenient. There were 10 of us, and we all slept comfortably with plenty of space. The house was spotless, and the photos matched exactly what we saw in real life. Chris was incredibly accommodating and responded quickly to any questions we had, which made the whole experience even better. The Airbnb is in a quaint, peaceful area that added to the relaxing vibe of the trip. I highly recommend staying here and already can’t wait to come back again!

This is a perfect location for families with children of all sizes or folks hoping to access the Nelson 151 trail. We had a great time with our 1 1/2 year olds doing small hikes around wintergreen and doing picnics at some of the local vineyards. Easy logistics near by, with an amazing farmers market right in the neighborhood with live bluegrass May - October. Highly recommend for families with little ones.

We absolutely loved this home and it was our third time renting from Chris. He is a wonderful host and communicates well. This house is clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. Game room is awesome and enjoyed by adults and kids in our group! We will be staying here again in the future.
